Freight Delivery for Liquidation Pallets
All pallets from Clarkes Pallets ship via LTL Freight trucking because of size and weight. This is different from regular parcel shipping like USPS or UPS.
How Pallets Ship
Method: Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) Freight only. Carriers include FedEx Freight, XPO Logistics, Estes, R+L Carriers, and regional freight companiesPackaging: Every pallet is stretch-wrapped, banded, and stacked on a standard 48” x 40” wood pallet. Items are secured to prevent shifting during transitWeight: Most pallets weigh 400-800 lbs. Truck size required for deliveryTracking: You’ll receive a PRO number + carrier contact info once shipped to schedule delivery
Processing Time
In-stock pallets: Ship within 1-3 business days after payment clearsSpecial orders: Allow 3-5 business days to pull, manifest, and load your pallet.
Orders placed after 2pm EST or on weekends process the next business day. We do not ship on Sundays or US holidays.
Delivery Time
Transit time depends on your zip code from our warehouse:Local/Regional: 2-4 business daysMost of Continental US: 5-8 business daysCoast to Coast: 7-10 business days.
Delivery times are estimates. Freight schedules can shift due to weather, truck availability, and routing.
Delivery Requirements
LTL freight is NOT like UPS/FedEx home delivery. For a successful delivery you need:
Forklift or Loading Dock: Freight trucks cannot hand-unload. You must have a forklift, pallet jack, or loading dock at delivery address Business Address Preferred: We can ship residential but it costs more + requires liftgate service. Liftgate adds $75-$150Someone 18+ Must Be Present: Driver will call 24hrs before delivery to schedule a 4-hour window
Clear Access: Street must allow 53ft tractor-trailer access. No low bridges, narrow roads, or steep driveways
If you don’t have a forklift, choose “Liftgate + Residential” at checkout. Shipping Costs
Freight shipping is calculated by weight, size, and distance. You’ll see exact shipping cost at checkout after entering your zip code + delivery type. Commercial with forklift/dock: Lowest rate
Residential with liftgate: Higher rate due to extra equipment Inside delivery: Not available. Driver drops at curb/dock only
Inspection at Delivery – Important
Federal law requires you to inspect freight before signing: Count pallets and check for visible damage before signing Note ANY damage, missing shrink wrap, or crushed corners on the delivery receipt/BOL before signing Take photos if there’s damage If you sign “clear” then find damage later, the carrier will deny claims
Refusing a damaged pallet is your right. We’ll handle the claim with the freight company.

We currently ship to US 48 states only. Canada/Mexico available by quote only via FedEx Freight International. Duties/taxes paid by buyer.
